Official UK Visa Application Website in Malaysia

  • Who Are We?

VFS Global is a commercial company, working in partnership with UK Border Agency and the British High Commission here in Malaysia providing services to help people apply for UK Border Agency Visa Services.

  • How Can We Help You?

You will find information on this website, supplied by UK Border Agency, about how to apply for a visa to enter the UK, if you need one. From this site you can also use our free email service to obtain the same information. We also offer a telephone information service.

VFS also manages the visa application centres here in Malaysia where you should submit your printed visa application form, supporting documents, biometric data and pay the visa application fee. The address and details of the visa application centre can be found in the Contact Us section of this website.

Information about the UK's immigration rules and policies can be found on the UK Border Agency website (www.ukvisas.gov.uk).

  • Where Can I Get Advice?

VFS Global and its staff cannot give you advice on how to complete your application, or what type of visa you should apply for. If you need help with your application or advice about the UK's immigration rules and requirements, you should seek advice from a qualified immigration adviser. In the UK immigration advisers regulated by the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC - www.oisc.gov.uk).

You can also obtain advice from legally qualified professionals regulated by designated professional bodies. A list of legally qualified professionals who can advise on immigration matters can be downloaded from the following websites:

Law Society of England and Wales
    Law Society of Scotland
    Law Society of Northern Ireland
    Institute of Legal Executives

Please note: The Law Societies of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and the Institute of Legal Executives cannot provide direct help or advice on visa applications. They can only provide a list of law firms who can advise on immigration matters.

  • Who Decides If I Will Get A Visa?

Your visa application will be processed and decided by UK Border Agency staff. Neither VFS, nor any of their staff, play any part in or influence the outcome of your visa application.

If any member of our staff claims to be able to influence your application, you should inform the nearest British diplomatic mission as soon as possible.
