Where to pay visa Fees:
With effect from 17th October 2007 the UK Visa Application Centre
will not accept any payment in cash and the following method will be in place:
Channels of Payment:
1. By cash across all Alliance Bank Counters ( Not through the cash/cheque
deposit machines), or
2. By cashier's order/ banker's draft at the UK Visa Application Centre and
payable to "VFS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd." payable at Kuala Lumpur only.*
3. By online fund transfer if you have an Alliance Bank Savings or Current
Account with personal internet banking access ( alliance online PERSONAL)
Please note that for options 1 to 3, which are surcharge free, applicants must
wait until the next working day after
making their payment before submitting their application to the Visa
Application Centre.
For option 2 applicants can purchase a cashier's order/ banker's draft from any
bank and submit their visa application the same day
at the UK Visa Application Centre, during opening hours.
* Please note that, if you are staying outside Kuala Lumpur, the bank drafts
which you purchase must be payable in Kuala Lumpur. Banks will charge a fee for
the purchase of cashier's orders/banker's drafts. This fee must be borne by the
Applicant. There is an Alliance Bank branch in Wisma MCA, the same building as
the Visa Application Centre.
Note:
1. Cashier's orders/banker's drafts are not accepted at the Bank Counters for
payments of UK visa fees.
2. One cash deposit slip must be completed for each application. (See
Sample). The applicant needs to write "VFS (Malaysia) Sdn.
Bhd." as the payee (Account number is not required). The applicant's name,
passport number and the amount of the fee must be written on the deposit slip.
3. For cash deposits the bank will retain one copy of the deposit slip and
return the other to the applicant. The applicant must retain this copy and
present it, as proof of payment, upon submission of the application at the Visa
Application Centre.
4. For online Alliance to Alliance fund transfers the applicant must print out
the transfer confirmation page and present this at the UK Visa Application
Centre upon submission of the visa application.
5. Photocopies of receipts will not be accepted.
6. Receipts will remain valid for 30 calendar days, including the day of
purchase of the receipt, after which time they will be forfeited if no
application has been lodged.
7. Payment of a fee does not guarantee issuance of a visa. Visa fees are not
refundable if an application is refused or withdrawn
8. For loss of receipt the applicant should contact the VFS Helpline: +6 03
2164 9323 or visit the Application Centre with their passport and details of
the location of the branch, the amount paid and the date and time that the fee
was banked. The applicant must not visit/call the bank for such incidents.
9. If you decide not to lodge your application and require a refund please
ensure that you contact the VFS helpline before the 30 day deadline to arrange
an appointment to collect a refund. Refunds will not be given once an a
application has been lodged.
10. The UK Visa Application Centre will not accept visa fees in cash.
11. It is the responsibility of the applicant to pay the correct
visa fee and to write the correct information on the paying-in slip.
Neither the British High Commission nor the Visa Application Centre accept any
responsibility for applications with incorrect payments and incorrect applicant
information. In this event we will not be able to process your application. If

12. Please note that Alliance Bank's role is restricted to fee collection only.
Applicants are requested not to consult the bank's officers for any guidance on
visa related matters.
