Where to pay visa Fees:

With effect from 17th October 2007 the UK Visa Application Centre will not accept any payment in cash and the following method will be in place:

Channels of Payment:

1. By cash across all Alliance Bank Counters ( Not through the cash/cheque deposit machines), or

2. By cashier's order/ banker's draft at the UK Visa Application Centre and payable to "VFS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd." payable at Kuala Lumpur only.*

3. By online fund transfer if you have an Alliance Bank Savings or Current Account with personal internet banking access ( alliance online PERSONAL)

Please note that for options 1 to 3, which are surcharge free, applicants must wait until the next working day after making their payment before submitting their application to the Visa Application Centre.

For option 2 applicants can purchase a cashier's order/ banker's draft from any bank and submit their visa application the same day at the UK Visa Application Centre, during opening hours.

* Please note that, if you are staying outside Kuala Lumpur, the bank drafts which you purchase must be payable in Kuala Lumpur. Banks will charge a fee for the purchase of cashier's orders/banker's drafts. This fee must be borne by the Applicant. There is an Alliance Bank branch in Wisma MCA, the same building as the Visa Application Centre.

Note:

1. Cashier's orders/banker's drafts are not accepted at the Bank Counters for payments of UK visa fees.

2. One cash deposit slip must be completed for each application. (See Sample). The applicant needs to write "VFS (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd." as the payee (Account number is not required). The applicant's name, passport number and the amount of the fee must be written on the deposit slip.

3. For cash deposits the bank will retain one copy of the deposit slip and return the other to the applicant. The applicant must retain this copy and present it, as proof of payment, upon submission of the application at the Visa Application Centre.

4. For online Alliance to Alliance fund transfers the applicant must print out the transfer confirmation page and present this at the UK Visa Application Centre upon submission of the visa application.

5. Photocopies of receipts will not be accepted.

6. Receipts will remain valid for 30 calendar days, including the day of purchase of the receipt, after which time they will be forfeited if no application has been lodged.

7. Payment of a fee does not guarantee issuance of a visa. Visa fees are not refundable if an application is refused or withdrawn

8. For loss of receipt the applicant should contact the VFS Helpline: +6 03 2164 9323 or visit the Application Centre with their passport and details of the location of the branch, the amount paid and the date and time that the fee was banked. The applicant must not visit/call the bank for such incidents.

9. If you decide not to lodge your application and require a refund please ensure that you contact the VFS helpline before the 30 day deadline to arrange an appointment to collect a refund. Refunds will not be given once an a application has been lodged.

10. The UK Visa Application Centre will not accept visa fees in cash.

11. It is the responsibility of the applicant to pay the correct visa fee and to write the correct information on the paying-in slip. Neither the British High Commission nor the Visa Application Centre accept any responsibility for applications with incorrect payments and incorrect applicant information. In this event we will not be able to process your application. If you encounter any problems or need advice on the fee to be paid please contact the Visa Application Centre Helpline: + 6 03 2164 9323.

12. Please note that Alliance Bank's role is restricted to fee collection only. Applicants are requested not to consult the bank's officers for any guidance on visa related matters.
